Year 1 Welcome to Blue Class

In Blue Class the adults who help us are Mrs Knuckey, Mrs Smith, Mrs Dale, Mrs Ferguson and Mrs Harrop.

PE will be taught on Mondays and Wednesday. Full PE kit is required on these days. Please make sure that children’s names are in their PE kit.

Reading books need to be in school every day and children will receive a new book on a Thursday. The book they bring home is the book that they have already read 3 times in school with an adult so they should feel confident reading it at home. We encourage children to read at home every day.

Phonics home learning will be sent home on Fridays to return to school by Wednesday. Children can record their phonics home learning in their red home learning book.

Things to remember:

Make sure your name is in all your things

Bring your water bottle to school every day.
